The service

TF Add Sample lets a Shopify merchant set a sample price on products and sync a Sample variant to that price. The merchant installs the app from Shopify and approves the permissions Shopify shows.

Price

The plan is $10 USD every 30 days, billed by Shopify under the plan name TF Add Sample. Samples, Defaults, and automatic product setup stay unavailable until that subscription is active. Development stores receive a test charge, which Shopify does not invoice.

The merchant's store

• The theme must already use a variant whose title or option contains "Sample" and the metafield custom.sample_price. This app does not edit the theme.
• Products that already have real options are not rewritten. The merchant adds the Sample variant for those products.
• Products tagged sample, and products whose type is Marble Sample, are skipped.

Ending the service

The merchant can uninstall the app or cancel the subscription from Shopify admin. Uninstalling removes the app's access token. Sample variants and metafields already written to the store remain until the merchant changes them.
